Cross Stitch Now I Lay Me
This design was inspired by my dear friend Pauline who wanted to stitch this classic children's prayer for her precious grandchildren. Unable to find a cross stitch design with the wording she remembered from her youth, Pauline contacted me for help. I knew right away that the perfect border would be from a recently released design, "Praise the LORD!". I also found a lettering style that hints at a child's writing, featuring touches of french knots as a ideal compliment to the prayer.
I think that this may be a nice addition to a child's bedroom wall or made into a pillow.

The design finishes to a standard frame size of 8 x 10" based on 14 count Aida or 28 count Even Weave or Linen (over 2) 20.3 x 25.4cm - 140 x 112 stitches. No Custom Framing Needed!
Charted in 8 colors, either DMC or Anchor, this fanciful floral design looks wonderful stitched on white or vintage colored fabrics, especially linens.
